Brief Academic Achievements :

33 years of teaching and research experience in Bangalore University. Published more than 50 research papers in reputed National and International journals. Guided several students at M.Phil. and Ph.D. levels. Co-authored two books. Co-investigator of DBT Research project on oil palm. Life Member of Society of Cytologists and Geneticists and served as EC member, Joint-Secretary, Secretary and as Editor of the Journal of Cytology and Genetics for a number of years.

Presently serving as the Vice President of the SCG and the Editor of the Journal of Cytology and Genetics. Recipient of Fellowship F.S.C.G. by the Society of Cytologists and Geneticists awarded in the year 1988.
