Brief Academic Achievements :

Published about 70 papers in reputed National and Intrnational Journals ; Post Doctoral Fellows of Royal Society and Nuffield Bursaries worked on chromosome banding at Oxford Univerwity, UK. ;Co-ordinator of SAP in Botany at Andhra University, from 1998-2003 and organized national Seminars and workshops in Cytogenetics of plants. Served as Head of the Department of Biotechnology and Coordinated M.Sc. Biotechnology Program at Padmavathi Mahilla University for about 2 years. Emeritus Professor in the Department of Botany of Andhra University from 2006-2008. Pioneered the organization of Women’s Cell and served as the chairman of the cell for 4 years. Supervised the work of 9 Ph.D. and 14 M.Phil students. Co-investigator of three Research Projects funded by UGC and DBT.
