Brief Academic Achievements :

Two students were awarded PhD. Published twenty seven papers in various reputed national and international journals. Attended and presented papers in various national and international Seminars. Organizing Secretary and convener of different committees in the national and international Seminars conducted by the Department of Botany. Sub Committee member,( Research, Consultancy and Extension work) , in Steering Committee, NAAC Accreditation – University of Kerala – 2014. Awarded Fellow of Indian AssoFrajenderciation for Angiosperm Taxonomy (FIAAT) by the Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy in 2010. E C member – the Society of Cytologists and Geneticists, Gregor Mendel Foundation , Calicut University and the Indian Botanical Society Kerala Chapter. Life member, All India Congress of Cytology and Genetics, Kolkata, Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy, Calicut, Journal of Indian Botanical Society, Society of Cytologists and Geneticists, Bangalore.
