Brief Academic Achievements :

Served in the Department of Botany ,Andhra University for 34 years as faculty member in different caders and retired on 2009 as Professor and Head of theDepartment as well as Co-Ordinator,UGC-SAP .Recipient of ‘Best Researcher Award (2004) ,Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan award for ‘Best Academecian(2008) and, Vishwambar Puri Medal Institutedd by the Indian Botanical Society. Guided 16 students for Ph.D., 15 for M.Phil., and published 95 papers in International /National Journals and authored 6 books. Served as subject expert member of UGC/DST committees and research projects funded by DST,ICAR,UGC as well as private firm. .Completed UGC-EMERITUS FELLOW in 2015.
